5Q with the Scott Case, Owner of Executive Auto Repair of Marco Island

What does your business offer that’s unique compared to businesses like yours?
Executive Auto Repair is Marco Island’s only AAA Approved Auto Repair facility, which means we meet or exceed AAA’s tough performance standards. We have 14 service bays equipped with the latest technology that our ASE Certified Technicians use to diagnose and repair all kinds of vehicles. And don’t forget about Henry (MacDonald) our Service Manager, his middle name is Customer Service, ok it’s really Parkman, but seriously, no one works harder than Henry when it comes to making sure our customers are satisfied.

What is unique about having a business in Southwest Florida?
Living and working in paradise you get to meet people from all over the world, it’s been quite an adventure watching Marco Island evolve into such a Cosmopolitan City. Plus, I don’t think there are many places in the country where there is a need to install swamp buggy tires and thankfully I’ve never had to shovel the parking lot.

What do you enjoy most about owning the business?
I get to work in a field that I love with a great group of people, in an area that I love. But the thing I enjoy most, is NOT wearing a suit and tie.

What types of work experience or training were required for you to run your business?
I have worked with cars all of my life. In high school I started working at Chevron right here on the Island (back when they still had service bays). From there I went to work for some of the largest Toyota Dealerships in the country as Parts and Service Manager. At Executive Auto Repair we have over 110 years of combined experience in the Automotive Repair Business. Our ASE Certified Technicians constantly update their skills to master the newest technologies and stay on top of the latest vehicle changes.

If someone gave you $1 million to improve the business, how would you use it?
We would be very grateful to receive the money, fortunately there isn’t much that we need, but in this always changing industry, purchasing additional advanced equipment is always inevitable.
